SHOTSHOW 2016 WITH JAG PRECISION
This year at the 2016 SHOTShow JAG Precision came out big and had several new and exciting products to make this year a great one for airsofters. If you didn’t already know JAG Precision is the largest US based Airsoft distributor that carried every brand in the beginning and now only carries the best and several exclusive brands such as VFC, Echo1USA, MadBull, Modify,E&L Airsoft, Socom Gear, Speed and many more.
This year there were several new rifles which happened to be the M4 variants but all from different companies so if you are in the market for a new M4 you are in luck.
First up we will look at the JAG Arms PHX-15 series from JAG Precision which is going to be their own rifle built to their specifications and working with VFC to create what could be the best M4 on the market for the price which is slated for the low $300 and a host of features to go along with it. Many have compared it to the Krytac and wondered if it will be better and the answer will be a solid yes but we will see once it is released this spring of 2016.
E&L Airsoft has made the best AK models on the market and came out strong to destroy the others like LCT; check out our E&L vs LCT review to see why and how. E&L Airsoft has seen the need to create a perfect M4 to go along with their AK’s which are loved by all. Their new MK18 styled rifle will have all the robust parts you love in the AK series but now in the M4 shape. Attention to details for the selector switch and button on the right side or the hard spring on the charging handle which mimics a real rifle while all the other Airsoft M4’s are using a toy like spring.
From the Echo1 lineup there is the new Troy TRX series that will be a total face lift of the current Troy MRF-C Gen2 which is great but not the TRX models will feature a metal body and more Troy styled parts and starting in the low $200 range making them a must have for the Troy fans out there that want a custom rifle without the crazy high price if you built it from parts.
Another excited rifle that JAG Precision had front and center was the Modify XTC rifle. This is a complete rifle built from Modify. They are known for the best upgrade parts and have released a M24 but now they have their flip up sights on the M4 market and they have pulled it off in a beautiful build called the XTC. Many great features inside and out it will be a sure hit on the field.
