Baby Station: Wabi and Boon
Keeping the kitchen clean is one thing but keeping the items needed for your baby is another very important topic at hand. Lets dive into this topic and find out what worked for our household and it might work for yours as well. Looking at my background of Airsoft and Hiking I always wanted to use the most efficient items in my pack and gear so I save space and money and as a father it was a new mission when taking care of the newest member of the team. My wife wanted a way to have the bottles and toys cleaned but not sitting on the counter or in the dishwasher so we did some research to see what is out there and what would work for us.
We needed to wash and sanitize the baby bottles and make it easy for us.
On our journey we came across several ways to hang dry the items to free up the counter space and it looked good but there had to be a better way. In our apartment we used the Airsoap products to help clean the air and along with the houseplants the place was fresh and clean, this sparked the idea of what to look for. I came across the Wabi Baby UV dryer. I liked how it worked where I can wash and put the items on the rack and let it do its thing and have it ready later. The wife liked the design how it is modern and clean on the outside and I think we have a winner!

We made the right choice and this was a great product for our household when it comes to making sure the bottles are clean and ready for our baby to use.
With our new Wabi Baby it fit perfectly in our wash room like it was meant to be there. Great thing about it is the easy to use buttons on the top to run the cycle, not complicated like a dishwasher! Also the door is glass so we can see inside if we are looking for a bottle cap.

The second issue we had to figure out is washing of the bottles in the sink.
Most sink washing tools are too big and clumsy for a small bottle and we wanted a small set of tools per say to get the job done and to fit in our new Wabi Baby. With our love of plants we found the Boon Cactus cleaning brush set which fit perfectly with our theme of plants and a baby!

Sharing the uses and features of the Wabi Baby ours was basically test driven by my wife’s sister who also has a baby. When we had two babies in the house and a countertop covered in bottles it was clear how the setup we were using made it easy to clean and prep for the babies. She liked our setup so much she got the same Boon Cacti set and Wabi Baby.
Her setup does copy ours but it makes sense since she used it at our place and know it works great for what she needs. Also the Wabi Baby does go with the rest of her kitchen decor. For the bottle cleaning tools she got the terracotta option instead of our standard green set, same thing.
